False and misleading news reports are being spread on social media. Some are making money from ad revenues on the internet. Some of it is fallout from a divisive Presidential election. Jokowi is seemingly the only one responding to attacks from other accounts that continue to push the rumor that Indonesia is being flooded by workers from China. The tussle over the issue of Chinese foreign workers on Twitter were clearly recorded in a social media analysis system made by Ismail Fahmi, a PhD in information science technology who graduated from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Ismail calls his technology "Drone Emprit" --- referring to the name of Twitter's bird logo. This software monitors and analyzes conversations on online and social media. He felt the need to use it when the commotion brewed on social media about Chinese workers in Indonesia.
