The Police of North Jakarta raided the Atlantis Gym, located in the Kokan Permata storehouse complex in Kelapa Gading. Nasriadi said the gym often hosted sex parties for gays. The Police arrested 141 men during the raid on grounds of allegedly holding a sex party. On the second floor was a striptease show, and on the third and fourth floors there were other activities. On the third floor, there are 16 four-square meter wide stalls called the 'dark rooms' by the gym's regulars. Edo said the stalls are rented out to customers wishing to have sex. The Atlantis Gym also offers premium guests the use of jacuzzi services. Several security guards and employees around the Kokan Permata storehouse complex claimed that other tenants in the building had no idea about activities in the Atlantis Gym, and that the gym's employees seldom mingled with staff of the other offices, even during lunch breaks. An employee of the logistics company next to Atlantis Gym, said that he was suspicious about the behavior of the customers next door. "We often found condoms in the trash bin," the employee said.
