A JOINT investigation between Tempo and the BBC found that international franchise eateries Pizza Hut, Pizza Hut Delivery and Marugame Udon in Indonesia used outdated ingredients. Documents and pictures showed expiration date labels being replaced to show six-month extensions. Suspicions are that the practice may have gone on for years and received the blessing of company bosses.
