Quarter II 2018 - Forbes Life
For this second issue of the year, Forbes Life pay tribute to the world of horology, one of the essential pursuits of men. Horology is a fast-evolving world with new pieces and innovations coming every year. We handpicked some notable pieces that have launched this year. From this year's Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie Geneve (SIHH), Forbes Life picked a magnificent piece, the Lange Triple Split, a watch that can have three different timings. For car and watch enthusiasts, there are many auto-inspired watches -- Forbes Life picked the Roger Dubuis collaboration with Lamborghini, Tag Heuer's recent partnership with Aston Martin, and Richard Mille's first co-designed watch with McLaren.
For cars, Forbes Life tested the Jaguar F-Pace 2.0 Prestige, a more affordable offering and a more practical model than the V6 variant. Forbes Life also tested the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman, a sportier version of the MINI Countryman with enhanced looks and performance. As it is still early in the year, Forbes Life also wanted to feature the latest from Jakarta's culinary scene. There are new offerings from premium hotels in Jakarta, such as the new menu at Rosso at Shangri-La Jakarta to the flashy presentations of Alto at the Four Seasons Jakarta.
